On November 13th, a delegation led by Md. Mustafizur Rahman, Managing Director of S.R Corporation (a renowned engineering enterprise in Bangladesh), visited HuBei Industrial Construction Group Co., Ltd(HICC). The two parties held in-depth discussions on issues including deepening multi-field cooperation and advancing the implementation of key projects.

M M Ferdahous Hossen, Deputy Project Managers of Section 3.2 of the 3rd Phase of Saidabad Water Treatment Plant Project; Chen Changqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of HICC; Yu Ruihua, Member of the Party Committee, Deputy General Manager and Chief Accountant; and Sun He, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager, attended the meeting.
Md. Mustafizur Rahman expressed gratitude for HICC's warm reception and highly recognized HICC's professional capabilities and sense of responsibility in the field of engineering construction. He noted that Bangladesh is in a golden period of accelerated infrastructure development, with sustained strong demand for projects in construction, water conservancy, energy and other sectors. Chinese enterprises have earned an excellent reputation in the local market by virtue of advanced technologies, efficient management and reliable project quality. S.R Corporation has always regarded HICC as a core strategic partner and highly acknowledges HICC's business philosophy and cooperation sincerity. Looking ahead, it hopes to further expand cooperation areas, carry out comprehensive and in-depth cooperation with HICC in engineering construction, building materials supply, introduction and application of special equipment and other fields, jointly seize development opportunities in the Bangladeshi market, and contribute to the local infrastructure construction and people's livelihood improvement.
Chen Changqing extended a warm welcome to S.R Corporation's delegation and introduced HICC's development history, business layout and overseas strategic planning. China and Bangladesh are traditional friendly neighbors. In recent years, under the guidance of the Belt and Road Initiative, bilateral pragmatic cooperation has been deepened continuously, and the construction engineering sector has become an important carrier of capacity cooperation between the two countries. As a benchmark enterprise in Bangladesh's construction market, S.R Corporation, with profound local resources, professional technical strength and good market reputation, has become an important strategic partner for HICC to deepen its presence in the South Asian market. Since the establishment of cooperative relations, the two parties have jointly won bids for and advanced a number of key engineering projects, achieving fruitful cooperation results and a solid foundation of mutual trust. He emphasized that deepening cooperation with S.R Corporation is not only a key measure for HICC to implement the national "Going Global" strategy and expand overseas market layout, but also an important path for the Group to promote enterprise transformation and upgrading and build an international engineering general contractor. HICC will give full play to its advantages in the whole industrial chain services, technological R&D capabilities and project management experience, work hand in hand with S.R Corporation to continue deepening its presence in the Bangladeshi market, and achieve complementary advantages and win-win development.
The two parties conducted detailed consultations on the core clauses of the consortium agreement for Section 3.2 of the 3rd Phase of Saidabad Water Treatment Plant Project.
At the end of the meeting, the two parties held a ceremony to exchange honorary certificates, symbolizing their profound cooperative friendship and firm determination to continue working together for win-win results. Relevant leaders and responsible comrades from HICC's Financial Management Center, Risk Control and Legal Affairs Department, Investment and Operation Center, and Materials Company also participated in the meeting.
